Although the 2024-2025 school year will be Dr. Sloan's first year as principal at Coahulla Creek High School, she is no stranger to Colt Country. Beginning her career in 1995 with Whitfield County Schools, she has served as a teacher, assistant principal and principal. She is married to Brad Sloan and they have four children: Kohl, Kaleigh, Kace, and Stella. As a member of this community and a parent of Coahulla Creek graduates, she takes great pride in working alongside an extraordinary staff. High school years can be some of the most memorable times in students' lives, and she is excited about the wonderful experiences and challenges that await our students this year. It is going to be a great year at the Creek!

Dr. Schneider will start his first year at CCHS, and his 24th year in education overall. He spent the last 10 years at Westside Middle School, with the first six as Assistant Principal and the last four as Principal. He also served as Assistant Principal at Southeast High School before going to Westside Middle. Prior to his work as a school administrator, Dr. Schneider taught social studies for eight years at Lakeview-Fort Oglethorpe High School in Catoosa County and for four years at Gladden Middle School in Murray county.
His educational background started at Lee University in Cleveland, TN where he graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in History. A few years later, he completed his Masters and Educational Specialist degrees in school administration, and several years ago finished his Doctorate degree in educational curriculum and instruction. While at Lee University he met his beautiful wife, Jennifer, and they have been married for more than 20 years. They both feel truly blessed to both be a part of the Whitfield County School District and enjoy making a positive impact on the students in their care. Mr. Woods is beginning his 29th year in education, all of which have been in Whitfield County Schools. This will be his 8th year at CCHS as the Assistant Principal and Athletic Director. He believes it is truly an honor and a privilege to get to work with an amazing faculty and staff that cares so much about it's students. This year will be exciting, personally for Mr. Woods, as his youngest daughter will be a freshman here at The Creek. He is looking forward to making wonderful memories with her, along with everyone else. The Creek is definitely rising, and he hopeful that everyone has a great school year.
